We made hips and elbow X-ray and received OFA certificates (as the first american akita kennel in the Czech Republic!) The results are HD GOOD and ED NORMAL, it means that consensus of three independent veterinarians was: "No signs of hip/elbow dysplasia was recognized"! More at http://www.offa.org/

The Journey on the Top
We took a trip into the mountains, together with Fajka (Feiko Tomimopa) and Corry (Brindle Bear Kokosan) & their masters, of course :). Our target was the 1012 m high peak of Jested, a mountain in the Northern Bohemia. We had lovely winter weather with sun & snow, what our akitas appreciated especially :).
